我喜欢想象 （请尽快实现） 一片赛博世界的草坪 那里的动物和计算机 共同生活在 程序编写的和谐之中 就像澄澈的水 触碰明净的天空 ———— 理查德·布劳提根《万物皆在慈爱的机器眷顾下》
最近在看《创新者》第八章时发现一首诗，很喜欢。诗歌的作者是理查德·布劳提根，加州理工的“驻校诗人”，美国现代小说家和诗人。这首诗歌的译名有三个「慈爱的机器照管一切」为东西文库翻译的图书《数字乌托邦》中出现，「一切都被慈爱的机器注视着」是以这首诗歌命名的纪录片中文翻译，这里使用《创新者》中所用的翻译。
作者有本诗集《请你种下这本诗集》由国内联邦走马出版，依照原版再现了诗集的形态，也依照布劳提根的要求依然是免费赠阅，听说可以在方所、先锋书店、单向街书店等实体空间获得，不过不知道目前还有没有。
另：of a cybernetic meadow 中出现的 cybernetic 明显是 赛博朋克 Cyberpunk 中，赛博（Cybernetics）英文的的组成部分，而东西文库中把它译成 自动化，有些牵强，所以没有放上由东西文库翻译的那段全文，只附上英文版，各自意会。
